On March 1st, 2014, Soh Daiko was invited to perform at the University of Hartford’s annual International Festival.
Hosted by the International Center, the festival was biggest event of the year and featured two performances by Soh Daiko and the Sonalee Vyas Bollywood Dance Company. Soh Daiko also invited guest performer Jason Chan, former Soh Daiko member and fue player. His fue performance in Yuudachi was both moving and dynamic.
Overall, the evening was truly a great celebration of international cultural diversity and the performances were complimented with a food tasting of ethnic cuisines from 12 countries. The venue was packed with standing room only. Our thanks go out to the University of Hartford for putting on a great show and inviting us to be a part of this great event!
